Tour/excursion program
Departure from Almaty
Early in the morning at 5 am the driver will pick you up from the designated address and you will go to Lake Kaindy (300 km, about 4.5 hours), on the way there will be a stop near the market in the village of Baiseit, here you can buy snacks and drinks if you wish.
Arrival at Lake Kaindy
Upon arrival from the parking lot, the excursion will begin (1.5 hours), you will have a 4 km trek to the lake, here you can walk along the shore and then climb to the observation deck to see the lake from above.
Departure and arrival in the village of Saty
After Lake Kaindy, you will go to the village of Saty (14 km, about 1 hour), here you will have lunch in a guest house.
Departure and arrival to Lake Kolsay
After lunch you will go to the lower Kolsay Lake (15 km, about 25 minutes), upon arrival from the parking lot you will go for a walk around the lake (1.5 hours), you can walk along the left or right bank of the lake or ride a boat and catamaran.
Departure and arrival to Charyn Canyon
After lunch you will go to Charyn Canyon (100 km, about 1.5 hours), upon arrival from the parking lot the excursion will begin (about 1.5 hours), you will have a trekking (3 km one way) along the bottom of the canyon, at the end of the valley the Charyn River flows where you can cool off in hot weather, if you do not want to go back on foot you can use an eco-taxi, it will take you to the parking lot.
Departure and arrival in Almaty
After the Charyn Canyon excursion, you will go back to the city (220 km, about 2.5 hours), upon arrival, the driver will leave you anywhere in the city.
Road length: 635 km, about 9 hours
Total excursion time: 14 hours

Examples of options: You can stay overnight in the village of Saty, there are comfortable guest houses here and the next day go around several canyons of the Charyn River.
